Great spud and customer service. Went at lunch time on a Friday and food came out in less then 10 min. Very fresh and delicious. We had the bonless buffalo chicken wing spud and steak spud. Both tasted fantastic. Will be eating here again soon. Clean place and clean bathrooms.

I wish I thought about this place more often because I really like it. It seems we only eat here when we are in the neighborhood. If you like large baked potatoes you should try Spud Ranch because it has just about all the toppings you can think of. Not just your typical toppings. Lots of hot toppings. It is a small place but we have never waited long.

Such Amazing Service! Not only is the food fresh and tasty, but they know their customers and make sure they get their orders exactly the way they want them! Today, I placed my usual order, but forgot to ask them in special notes to remove the foil. I was so pleased to note that they had remembered and removed the foil without my asking them too! Great staff, great food!

Friendly and helpful staff. Came here during a busy time and good came out with little wait time and as ordered. The spuds here are amazing and the Philly and chicken enchilada ones are definitely worth giving a try if this is your first time here and you're looking to try something new. Really cool feel inside but seating and parking can be a bit of a challenge during peak hours. Overall great place to eat with friends and will be back.

The food here was delicious! The Spuds are HOT! The hubs got a patty melt with fresh cut fries and it was Gone in 10 mins! He said it was the best ever patty melt he's ever had. I had the teriyaki and all the veggies were super fresh and hot off the grill.

Yummy food! So many choices of fillings for your potato....all good! Burgers and more but we've only gotten the stuffed potatoes....chicken fried steak and Philly cheese steak. So good!

I recently started working in New Braunfels, so naturally I wanted to try some new restaurants during my lunch break. I discovered Spud Ranch and am extremely glad I went. They have online ordering, so I placed my order to pick up. I ordered the Quesadilla Spud and it was absolutely amazing. I would order again and again! I am excited to try new spuds!

Spud's Ranch was a delightful evening as always... We always enjoy coming over to this place here. Foods delicious, very friendly employees and inexpensive. I recommend this place . I tell you something if you're looking for a great place to enjoy burgers this is the place and these just any burgers they're made with Texas toast and very filling. So come hungry because these here burgers are huge . I give this place a 10. Now, you have to give it a try and see what you think. I'm sure you also will be as satisfied as we were.

Pretty good. This was my first time trying Spud Ranch. I'm pregnant and can only keep certain things down so this was a good option that's centrally located. You get a very good sized potato for the price. I went with the Texas Original and placed my order online. My food was ready right when I got there and the staff was friendly. Overall my potato was very good until the end, when I found what looked like a rock in it. I thought I had chipped a tooth and initially thought it might be an uncooked bean. I'm just glad I didn't swallow it!

We've passed this establishment a couple of times and always comment how we want to try it. We've checked out the menu and have decided what we would try on our first time. Today was the day we stopped in. Friendly and quaint atmosphere. Friendly and welcoming staff. Great variety of food to choose from and unique potatoes to try! I got a Philly cheesesteak, hubby got a quesadilla with quac, daughter got the Texas original, and my son got Mac n cheese with fresh cut fries, we also got an order of jalapeno poppers. Couldn't be happier with our first time choices. We will be back to try other things!

Pretty tasty food! Everything fresh and homemade, including their soups!! The Broccoli Cheese soup is pretty good — it’s chicken broth based, so it’s thinner than some, but it’s pretty good. Ask for extra cheese on top. Burgers are good, all are served on buttery grilled Texas toast slices, and the stuffed spuds are big and come MANY different ways!!

The spuds are big and very good! I ordered the original Texas Spud and it came with freshly cooked bacon bits. My husband ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and it was so good! The loaded baked potato soup was very thick we liked it though. We definitely plan to come back with the kids!

Great food. Went into a Spud Coma after eating this huge Chicken fried spud. Nice and cozy family loved it. Gotta try the fried pickles and fried mushrooms

This is a small comfortable place with any toppings you could think of on huge baked potatoes. They also have hamburgers and sandwiches which is what I had a crispy chicken sandwich on texas toast with fries, tasted great and everyone else had spuds with no complaints..

It's a small place and easy to miss, but worth stopping by. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean. I had the steak potato, and they were happy to omit the onions that would normally come with. They encourage customization, so you can have what you want. The brisket potato is also quite tasty, and both were big potatoes. Price wise, for four people it was roughly $44, inculding an appetizer. My group was very happy, and will be going back.

Food was delicious and hot. It was made to order and came out quickly! The staff was friendly and very helpful. Would definitely eat here again.

If you are planning a trip to Schlitterbahn or just in the area definitely make a pit stop here. My husband and I were taking our little one to her first waterpark adventure. We came aross a sign that read ALL DAY PARKING at the Spud Ranch. The owner of the restaurant offers parking for a fee. After the waterpark we decided to cool off indoors and it was so worth it. We ordered the Spud of the Day, Brisket Spud and Chili Cheese Fries. So good! Thank you, Mr. Gallegos for your kindness. Congratulations on your new grandchild! - Alex and Victoria

Great place to eat great service

Impressive menu of baked potatoes with various toppings. All the ones we've had have been good. Also tried the chicken tenders and found them to be tasty. My preferred method of eating them is with the gravy that comes with them and add a side of BBQ sauce. Great combo, IMO.

I love this place! Best place to get bbq fries! I went and asked for bbq fries and they are not on the menu. But they made them and they were the bomb! Definitely my fave place in New Braunfels.

We really enjoyed the food. It's a wonderful alternative to the typical menus. We will definitely be back and try other things on the menu.

Good food, lots of options. Doesn't take long to get your food. They have a drive-thru if you're ordering food on the go. They are walking distance from Schlitterbahn. There is extra parking to the side of the restaurant. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The food is plentiful and cheap, the selection is large, and the staff are efficient. Great stop to reload after a day at Schlitterbahn.

Slow food prep. Two baked (Original) and that's not anything special. Seems like it shouldn't be such a long wait. Food is average, two baked like I said, no "WOW" factor. Great staff though.

Y’ALL! 😳 If you haven’t ventured out to this little gem, you need to! Holy cow! We tried the Frito Pie, Chicken Fried Steak, Hot Wing and Brisket spuds plus the bacon cheese burger. All of it was amazing and the spuds are a full meal- no little baby potatoes served here!! Will most definitely be back!

Spud Ranch is awesome!! So many options it was hard to pick one and the potatoes are huge! Great location, great food, great service, and great prices! I'll definitely be back with the family!

The folks were sweet and awesome! We had a large group of girls with us and they were very patient with us. The food was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend any spud they have! All amazing!

I come here every single time I'm in new braunfels. They have amazing food and I love their fried mushrooms and pickles. It takes forever to get into any restaurant down by the antique mall usually and this is just 5 minutes from there. This place is awesome!

Love this place! The spud are wonderful they have a bomb steak sandwhich and its always clean. Staff has a positive friendly welcoming attitude!

This is a fantastic place to eat! I went there the other day and got a burger, fries and a drink. The Burger was between Texas Toast, not buns, and was awesome! The fries were the home-made kind and I always rate them the best in New Braunfels! The Burger has jumped up to number one ( to join the fries) as my number one rated burger in New Braunfels! This is the best place to go for burger and fries in town! If you only have a 30 minute lunch, you may see if you can call your order in advance. If you have a 45 minute lunch and you work near by, you should be ok. This is an outstanding place!!

Ate here with the family. The burgers were good and the chicken fried stake potato was amazing. Clean, good service, and fast. Will now be a stop every future visit to area so we can try everything on menu.

Had the chicken fried chicken spud with cheddar and gravy and it was delicious! A nifty little restaurant with friendly staff and kooky decor. I would definitely eat here again when I'm in the area.
